Mountains, as well as oceans and deserts, are our wild gardens, as necessary and vital as water and bread, because those are places of a unique peace where one can walk, run, contemplate, climb, use the strength of his body, make his soul and his heart breath. I invite you to find out in the following pages the art and the way to safely move around in those gardens of altitude.

The Ascent of Mont-Blanc by its North East Ridge–15.771 ft/4807m
The North East Ridge route is technically more difficult than the Goûter route which is considered as the “normal” and most popular itinerary. The route is designed for mountaineers with previous alpine experience. If you have no previous mountaineering experience whatsoever, I recommend that you join the “Objective Mont-Blanc Course”. The route is physically challenging and require a good degree of fitness and stamina as well as a good level of proficiency. You will be climbing between 3.500 and 4.807m for some long hours (around 12 to 15 hours). At these altitudes, the physical effort for breathing and climbing is almost doubled. Some slopes are steep, low temperatures and wind make the ascent more difficult. The reward ?…Pushing your limits…..and admire the sunrise from the roof of Western Europe.
